Wolfgang Dünnweber is a professor emeritus at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität University Munich (LMU). The experimental physicist is exploring the inner structure of nucleons.
Wolfram Weise was a professor at the Technische Universität München (TUM) from 1994 until 2012. After his retirement in 2012 he became the director of the European Centre for Theoretical Studies in Nuclear Physics and Related Areas (ECT) in Trento, a task that he still holds until the end of 2015. Wolfram Weise's research interests include the theory of hadrons and atomic nuclei, Quantum Chromodynamics and the physics of hadronic matter under extreme conditions.
